Catherine Turlington, MPH, is a PhD student in Environmental Sciences at UTHealth Houston School of Public Health with a concentration in Total Worker Health. She received her Bachelor of Science in Public Health and Master of Public Health in Environmental Health with a focus in Industrial Hygiene. Her research interests include air quality, occupational and environmental exposures, environmental contaminants, and human health risk assessment. She is particularly interested in understanding how environmental and workplace exposures influence health and contribute to health disparities. She is passionate about advancing research that supports healthier workplaces and communities through evidence-based environmental and occupational health practices.
